Cream and dusty pink drapes make this venue elegant and sophisticated.

A hall candelabras were decorated with hanging orchids, roses, and Swarovski crystals.

Here is a bride’s testimonial:
Lana from Seattle Floral Design did stunning, spectacular, and wonderful work for our flowers for our wedding! From the beginning I knew that she was going to do a great job, but I didn’t know that it was going to be as amazing as it finally turned out. We had talked with a couple other well rated florists in Seattle and were disappointed with what we saw was in our price range. Lana was recommended by a family friend because Lana did her wedding, and she couldn’t recommend her enough! She kept saying how Lana was such a great value and wonderful to work with! I can’t agree more. First off, the planning with Lana was actually fun! I only had a couple of ideas, pigeonholed because of our budget, but Lana worked with our budget in mind and help me to form a coherent idea of what I wanted and was so patient with all the changes I kept making. Not only was she understanding, but she was also so much fun to work with! With her experience, she was able to guide what we wanted to what worked best in the space we had and bring extremely creative ideas to the table. We were thinking of just having a couple of larger vases with flowers for our ceremony, but she came up with making an arch from curly willow branches with glass balls (which we really wanted to use) hanging from it with orchids in them. It was phenomenal! She even stayed to help move it behind the head table so we could continue to enjoy it all night! The centerpieces were amazing and even better than I had thought they would be. So unique, and just exactly what I wanted. My bouquet was gorgeous and smelled amazing! You can’t get any better than that! I loved it so much! When I took it back to where my husband and I live, I got so many compliments from other passengers at the airport, the flight attendants, everyone! Lana was amazingly able to get a gardenia for my hair less than a week before the wedding because I changed my mind last minute. She put our favors on the table so our family didn’t have to work on setting them up. I could go on and on and on about her, but that might be too time consuming to be read. Overall, Lana goes above and beyond to help her brides create the wedding of their dreams. I cannot stress enough that she is the best florist in the Seattle area. She gives you so much more for your money than any other florist, not only because of her prices or because of her phenomenal work and creative ideas, but also because she is such a wonderful, professional, and delightful person to work with (and what more do you want than that piece of mind and fun during your wedding planning?). I cannot recommend her enough. |

Bride and Groom choice of their wedding style was inspired by ideas and designs from the 50s. They captured timeless elegance with a retro style and created a fresh and breathtaking environment complete with jazz band.

Jewelry pins, feather, and a wrap with rhinestones spruce up these champagne roses arranged by Magnolia leaves.

Bridesmaids Bouquets: Ivory and white roses arranged in round shape along black and white feather complimented black and white ribbon tied in bows.

This dining room feathers two different tablecloths, centerpieces, and napkins that punctuated with vibrant green chrysanthemums. One centerpiece made of manzalian free, white hydrangea in a moss cover container, decorated with birds and hanging crystals. For another centerpiece we had a moss pad under a tall wooden candle holder with white pomander with hanging crystals as well. Large carnation pomander complimented with small green pomander made from green chrysanthemums. They were used such a nice detail for a napkin and a candle décor.

The extra details make a difference…

Gazebo were decorated with fragrance white Oriental lilies, purple Vanda, purple delphinium, and finished with greenhanging amaranthus.
Aisle decor created from rusted moss cones and topped with the same flowers as for Gazebo décor.
For a garden wedding centerpiece we cover containers with moss, then filled it with white Asiatic lilies, purple lisiathus, purple veronica, purple carnations, and filled with baby breath, panicum, and Dusty Miller.
Skeleton leaves were glued on cylinder vases and used for a napkin decor along with a rustic wire and purple statice.

Rustic elegant graciousness at Seattle Tennis Club |

Seattle Tennis Club is one of the most beautiful and unforgettable locations for weddings. It has elegant rooms with breaking views of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier.
Recently, a client retained the Seattle Tennis Club for a wedding celebration and the bride’s family brought in a rustic arbor – which captured my imagination and led me to create unique altar setting that was fantastically romantic and beautiful with clusters of hand-tied flowers. The bower boasted climbing calla lilies, red amaranths and hanging cymbidium orchids. Graceful candles like crystal bells dangled over the bride and groom adding gentle lighting as they spoke their vows.

This exceptional bride’s bouquet boasts a dreamy feathery elegance. The delicate creation combines pink cymbidium and miniature roses with mini red calla lilies, ranunculus and roses.

The table décors were inexpensive yet chic with tapered candles atop charming wine bottles with displays of flowers identical to the bride’s bouquet in place.

Head table flowers were the same as for a bride bouquet, red calla lilies, light pink cymbidium orchids, cranberry roses, miniature light pink roses, and curly willows.
On the guest book table, a larger wine bottle was decorated with the same bridal flowers and delightful willows twining up the curved surface.

Here is a bride’s testimonial:
There are not enough good things we can say about Lana. Before we met Lana, the flowers were the lowest priority of our wedding. She took the simplicity that we were looking for and brought it to fruition with elegance and softness. She went above and beyond our requests and went through every single detail with us. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lana and would be willing to personally guarantee everyone's expectations will be exceeded by this woman.
I would be glad to provide photos and any further information needed; she is just amazing! |
